Outreach Programs

We hope to increase accessibility to arts, nature, and body-based approaches to therapy and wellbeing. And so, we offer a variety of outreach programs within the community that are delivered at no cost to the participants.

Some of the programs we’ve offered in the past are:

  • An eight week movement-based trauma therapy group for women, offered in partnership with Hollyburn Family services

  • A theatre group for youth at Mountainside Secondary school

  • An art group for indigenous youth at The Eslha7an Youth Centre

  • A nature based therapy group for young adults presented in partnership with CMHA’s STEPS program.

Our weekly ongoing outreach programs include:

  • Recovery from Trauma: an expressive arts therapy group for individuals recovering from trauma presented in partnership with CMHA. Book an intake appointment here.

  • Art therapy for seniors: Art therapy groups are offered to seniors living in two local residential care homes, Amica and Chartwell Churchill House.

  • Art therapy for youth: An open art studio experience for youth self-identifying as struggling with mental health. This group is presented at and in partnership with the Capilano Community Services.

Please stay tuned for upcoming outreach programs as they become available.
